Danny Thompson Obituary
Danny Marshall Thompson, age 78 of Franklin, TN passed away Aug. 29, 2023. Danny was born Nov. 8, 1944 in Sparta, TN to the late Marshall Booker and Clara Marie Thompson. He was a veteran of the United State Air-Force and retired after 39 years with the FAA as an air traffic controller and data systems specialist. Danny was a devoted husband to his wife Dianna and wonderful father to his two daughters. He was a selfless man who always made sure his wife and girls got to pursue their dreams. He loved his grandsons like sons he never had and was so proud to tell everyone about his beautiful great granddaughter. He was a very tender-hearted man and will be greatly missed.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Thompson of Franklin, TN; daughters, Dana Stewart of Chapel Hill, TN and Dawn (David) Stephens of Franklin, TN; grandsons, Cameron (Julie) White and Danny J. Thompson; great granddaughter, Charlotte James White; sisters, Pam (Ronnie) Gable and Teresa (Eddie) Harrison; nieces, Rhonda (Mike) Hammons and Brandy (Mike) Smith and great nieces and nephews.
