Danny Ray Trammell

Danny Ray Trammell, 76, passed away on July 31, 2025 in Apple Valley, UT. He was born June 9, 1949 in Harrison Arkansas to J. Ray Trammell and Betty Baker.

Danny loved to be in the mountains, and was easy going and kind to everyone around him. He grew up in Arkansas and attended College at the University of the Ozarks, Go RazerBacks! Danny was a member of the United States Marine Corp, where he was honorably discharged. Danny lived many places but settled in Hurricane where he worked as a Manager for Pace American Trailers. When he retired he was able to relax and later went to live in Apple Valley Utah.

Danny also loved camping and would spend weeks during summer months up in the mountains of Kolob, where he would sit by the fire, fish, and just enjoy the fresh air. Danny could put a smile on anyone's face, and was always willing to help anyone when in need. Danny loved his family and was always a phone call away if needed.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Nikita Shea (Marlon) Newport, his two grandchildren Payton Grace Newport and Colton Jay Newport. His mother, Betty Smith, his brother, Frankie (Rene) Trammell and his sister Margret Daniels and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Danny will be remembered by many due to his undeniable charm, personality and kindness that followed him wherever he went.
