Danny Waters Obituary
Joe Waters, age 76, Of Odessa, passed away on June 28, 2024, at his home in Odessa.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
Joe was born in Lufkin, Texas. He was a retired educator, with 38 years of experience.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Homer and Polly Thomas Waters, uncles and aunts.
Joe is survived by his wife, Jenny Waters; and sisters. Virginia Nilsson and Susan Walker; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the West Side Christian Church, 3501 W. 15th St., Odessa, TX 79763.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Ramanathan, Dr. Kadir. Dr. Spellman. Russell Tippin, Kathy Rhodes, Jimmy Braswell, Home Hospice and ECISD.
