My words are not adequate to express the sorrow I feel for your loss , & this is the reason it has taken till now to sign the guest book, each time I tried to write nothing could convey my thoughts. Every bit of my heart goes out to you during this most difficult time,I hope you know however that my thoughts & prayers have been with you every day.

Words cannot describe how much your missed by your friends and family, we all know your watching over us and making sure were safe. I miss your perfect smile, i can still hear your high pitched laugh, the not so funny jokes that cracked yourself up. You were truly an amazing person and im honored to have had the chance to know you since we were 11. Brantley has a real hero to look up to and we will remind him of the caring, passionate, loving, kind hearted uncle you were. Rest in peace angel, i love you. My prayers are with the entire family and the many many friends you have.

It is obvious Dante's passing has effected so many people. He was such a great kid with that big smile and energy he always had with him. Erin, you were a great big brother to him, including him in our football games over the past several years. He was lucky to have you, and the rest of his family by his side. First of all we we're devastated when we heard about the incident. He's deff in a better places pain and suffering is over. But he passed doing what he loved to do. I knew Dante since my freshman year. I'll never forget our study hall together, he was the class clown. Dante was the type of kid who was friends with everyone & anyone. It didn't matter if they were popular or not, he didn't care. We became closer over the last year & I really got to see how big that boys heart was. He was a goofball & capable of loving the world. He spread smiles everywhere he went. Dante I hope you're enjoying heaven listening to country, drinking a beer, shooting clay birds, & driving monster trucks. You will be greatly missed by so many people. Like many others have already written, your smile brightened the entire room. You had such an amazing way of making people laugh, whether it be through your cunning sarcasm or silly singing and dancing around. I had the pleasure of teaching Dante and Vincenzo at St Amelia School when their school closed (Blessed Sacrament) and they came over to join our student body. Some of the transferred students didn't take well to being switched over mid-year; but this was not the case with Dante. I can still recall him being friendly, outgoing, open to new things, and always with a smile on his face. In little time he had new friends with his infectious posivite spirit. In reading the many comments here I see that was always his way. I also recall both Dante and Cenzo being very devoted to their younger two sisters who were also moved to St. Amelia. I have been thinking about this young man very much over the last few days and praying for strength for the entire Mancuso family. With love and sympathy,

I just heard Dante's uncle on WDCX while driving home and was saddened by the loss this family has endured. I have a 19 Yr old..youngest of 4 children. To Cenzo, Nancy and all of Dante's family, I am so so sorry for your loss. I only met Dante a few times but every single time I saw him he had a giant smile on his face! We'll never forget how much Dante impacted every single one of our lives. He was always the one making us laugh and when we think of St. Amelia's Dante is truly one of our fondest memories. He will be severely missed. Thoughts and prayers to the Mancuso family in your time of need.

I shared the good memories of Dante with several people over the past couple of days. I moved a few doors down from the Mancuso's back in 2001. Quickly my son and Dante became friends and would play hockey together, ride skateboards and ride bikes. My son had a lot of friends but there was something different about Dante. Most kids don't say a lot to their friends parents for whatever reason, but Dante stood out. When I was building my deck in my backyard I remember it being a hot summer day. I was aggravated because I was sweating and it didn't seem like I was making progress. The next thing I know Dante is walking into my backyard carrying the deck boards to me. I never asked for help and honestly didn't even know he was out front. He must've sensed that I was struggling a bit and he looked at me and said "frowns are for clowns." I immediately started laughing and he instantly changed my mood. At the time he was probably only 10 years old. The amazing part is that he was always like that. He would always help people and would always do it with a smile. He was genuine and I always knew he was doing these nice things because that's who he was......not because he was trying to impress anyone. As most kids get older they get to a stage where they think they're too cool for adults.....not Dante!! I ALWAYS got a "hello" from Dante as he drove down the street or was walking by......and I mean ALWAYS!! He always had a funny comment or story that would put a smile on your face.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Dante had an impact on the people the he came into contact with and he certainly left his mark. I made sure he knew how thankful I was when he would help me or even for telling a joke and making me laugh. I would like to thank his family for raising such a wonderful young man that made a difference in this world and in other people's lives.
I offer my deepest condolences to the Mancuso family and hope that these little stories about Dante can help ease your pain!
