Obituary for Danuta Ronewicz (1953-2024)
Danuta Ronewicz, age 71, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, with loving family at her hospital bedside. Born in Kolanowo, Poland, Danuta was the daughter of the late Piotr Samiec and the late Rozalia (nee Dolrzycka) Samiec, the devoted wife, since 1972, of Eugene Ronewicz, the loving mother of Andrew Ronewicz, Stan (Jill) Ronewicz and Margaret (Jeff) Molin, the beloved sister of Krystyna Buczkowska, John Samiec and Kaz Samiec and the adoring grandmother of Evelyn Molin.
Danuta was educated in Poland and moved to the U.S. in the early 1970's. She worked as a production worker for JP Products for over 10 years and then for Tube Methods for the next few years, until her retirement in 2018. She was a long time and devout member of Sacred Heart Church who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, working in her garden and caring for her cats "Daisy" and "Bella".
Relatives and friends are invited on Monday, April 22, 2024, to The Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, 305 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp., PA 19405, 610-275-6385, Keith J. Murphy, F.D., www.gutkowskifuneralhome.com, where her family will greet guests from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., and then on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, to The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery Chapel, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901, where Danuta's Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m.. Interment will follow the Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery. The family would appreciate Memorial Donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087, 888-557-7177.
