Mr. Darell E. Wall Sr, age 82 of Knoxville, formerly of Kingston, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 23, 1942, in Natchez, Mississippi. Mr. Wall was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired from upper level management with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of the Moose & Elks Lodge. In his free time, you could always find him cooking something, whether you liked it or not, and he was always poking fun and being a jokester with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Willard G. Wall & Dora S. Wall; first wife: Louise G. Wall; son: Richard Wall; brother: David Wall; and son-in-law: Stan Cross. He is survived by:

Children: Sharon Cross, Buddy Wall, Darell Wall Jr (Wendy), Christy Jackson (Stephen), Tracy Joyner (Ernie Jr)
Grandchildren: Stephanie Hembree, Jeremy Cross, Makenzie Stachnik, Lindsey Wall, Brady Wall, Blake Wall, Brandon Wall, Chance Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Cole Johnson, Megan Joyner, and Morgan Joyner

Sisters: Geneva, Lina, and Judi
Brother: Ruben Wall
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood with full military honors presented by the US Navy Honor Guard and the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Darell E. Wall Sr.
