Darla Moyer Obituary
Darla was born in Wayne County on July 2, 1939 D. Oscar and Della L. (Hendershot) Fetzer. She graduated from Norwayne High School in 1957 and from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music in 1961. On July 20, 1963 she married James R. Moyer at Jackson Presbyterian Church and Jim preceded her in death on March 22, 2021. Darla was a music educator in Parma City Schools for twelve years and retired from North Central Local after 20 years. She was an active member of the Ohio Music Education Assoc. and for several years served as Chair of the Ohio Society for General Music.
Darla was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents, and a sister, Norma Williams and is survived by several family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Jackson Cemetery in Creston. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne Center for the Arts, 237 S. Walnut St., Wooster, OH 44691.
