Darla K. Reth, age 72, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025. Darla was a truly special soul—someone who never met a stranger and saw everyone as a friend. Her sense of humor and bright spirit brought joy to all who knew her. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Majestic Care (Kent Healthcare) for the compassion they showed Darla. She loved being “the boss” and cherished the relationships she formed with every “Jenny” and “JJ” on staff. Their inclusion and kindness made a lasting impact on her life—and hers on theirs.
Darla was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Andrew and Wilma Reth, her brothers, Drew and Rollie Reth and stepsister Kathy Subich. She is survived by her devoted sister-in-law, Mary Reth; nieces, Tonya (Adam) LaFaber and Monica (Kevin) Streby; great nieces, Marissa, Mackenzie, Kylie, Delaney, and Sydney; great-great nieces, Aubrey and Skylar. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A private family burial will be held in her honor.
Services in the care of Billow Funeral Home and Crematory, 1907 23rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, Billow FALLS Chapel.
