Darlene Hintz Obituary
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.
Darlene Delores Hoffman was born January 2nd, 1940, in Grant County ND to Anita (Grade) and Albert Hoffman. She graduated from New Leipzig High School. She married Gerald Hintz on August 1st, 1959.
Darlene worked at MDU, Lemmon High School, and Calvary Lutheran Church in Lemmon SD. In 1989 they moved to Leola, SD and in 2007 they moved to Aberdeen, SD to enjoy their retirement.
Darlene's favorite pastime was going out for coffee and spending time with her grandchildren.
Grateful to have shared Darlene's life are her two sons: Bruce (Cherie and her son Brandon) Hintz of Lead and Gregg (Betsy) Hintz of Aberdeen, two granddaughters Alyssa Hintz of Aberdeen and Brooke Hintz (Fiancé Jaden Reed) of Moorhead, MN and one brother Jerry (Diane) Hoffman of New Leipzig ND.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and parents (Anita and Albert).
