Darlene K. Reese, 69, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. She was born on September 2, 1949 in Warsaw IN to Lowell & Lola Jean (Horn) Whetstone.
She graduated from Akron High School and attended International Business College in Fort Wayne, IN. She grew up in Akron and lived most of her life in the Leesburg (Oswego) area. She was married on June 21, 1969 in Akron, IN to Daniel G. “Dan” Reese who survives. She retired from Zimmer Corp. as the accounts payable manager after 30 years and formerly at Clunette Elevator.
She was a life member of the Michigan Snowmobile Association and the Trail Rider Snowmobile Club in Baldwin, MI.
She was survived by:
Husband – Dan Reese of Leesburg
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.
Preferred memorials may be given to Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 3489 E. 100S, Pierceton, IN 46562.
