Darlene Tebbe

Darlene A. Tebbe, 82, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
Born on December 24, 1942, Darlene was a spirited and loving presence in every room she entered. Alongside her husband, Jim, she co-owned and operated Automotive Electronic Service, where she proudly served for many years as the bookkeeper and office manager. Her sharp mind and warm personality made her an invaluable part of the business and community alike.
Darlene was the life of the party-whether in the backyard with family, boating in Port Clinton, or wintering in Lake Worth, Florida. Wherever laughter was heard and glasses clinked, she was there, her signature move marked by the familiar rattle of ice in a glass and her infectious smile.
A talented bowler, Darlene was especially proud of her near-perfect 299 game-a testament to her focus and competitive spirit. She also had a deep love for the water, enjoying countless fishing trips and boat rides with her friends at the Port Clinton Yacht Club.
She leaves behind a family who adored her: her beloved husband, Jim Tebbe; daughters Pam Orwick (Bob Cherewick) and Lisa Dobbins (Bill Dobbins); grandchildren Jim Orwick (Nikita Orwick), Bridgette Hashbarger (Trevor Hashbarger), and AJ Dobbins (Mariah Schwab); and her great-granddaughter, Margot Hashbarger and another great-grandchild (baby Orwick) on the way.
Darlene is also survived by her sister, Connie Hoehne (Slim Hoehne), and her brother, Delbert Monnier (Sandy Wheelock). She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Floyd and Sylvia Monnier.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lake View Pool and Tennis Clubhouse in Findlay, Ohio. All who knew Darlene are invited to celebrate her life, sharing memories, laughter, and the joy she brought to all.
Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice in Findlay, where Darlene received compassionate care.
