Darlene Tokarsky Obituary
Darlene grew up in Turtle Creek. She spent her life working in the industrial field and amongst that time also worked in retail. Even though she was courageously battling this disease she found it important to volunteer for her favorite organization, the 412 Food Rescue.
Darlene's infectious smile and vivacious personality always lit up the room. She was a very social and outgoing person living life to its fullest. Full of curiosity and an adventurous spirit, Darlene was always ready to try something new and exciting. She loved to travel, especially with her great nieces and nephews. Physical activity was her passion and she loved hiking in the great outdoors. Her kindness and generosity was abundant towards her family, friends, strangers and especially towards her great nieces and nephews.
Her loss will be felt by her loving family; sister Melanie Black (Terry) and brothers Michael Tokarsky (Joyce), Norman Tokarsky (Carolyn) and Tim Tokarsky (Tammy); nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Darlene is preceded in death by her father and mother, Alexander and Galina Tokarsky; and sister, Andra Tokarsky (Danai).
We would like to thank the following people whose kind and selfless acts meant so much to Darlene and her family:

Melissa and the Stanton Ave housemates, Susie and the HomeGoods friends, Julie, Pam and all the people we have never met that have touched Darlene's life.
Family and friends will be notified when the celebration of life memorial will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Jobe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 118 Shaw Ave, Turtle Creek (412)-823-1950. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 412 Food Rescue in Darlene's memory. Online condolences may be left at www.jobefuneralhome.com.

My condolences to Darlene's family. I remember tagging along with Darlene and my sister to the various outings they would partake in. Even if my sister wasn't thrilled with me tagging along, Darlene always treated me as if I were her little sister as well!
Such a nice person with a big heart!
