Just wanted to send condolenses to the Rolph family over the loss of Darrel. I worked with him at Carlos O' Kelly's a few years back and always felt I was being treated fairly by him. Dear Rolph family, Charles and I were so
very sad to read of Darrell's passing. He was such a pleasant,compassionate person. All the girls whom he coached were always right there when he spoke. Our daughter,Sherry, played on his soccer team with Dawn and our son Brian,played with Cody at SE.

Dear Rolph family it broke my heart to hear of Mr. Rolph's passing. I pray for the Lord to bring you peace in this difficult time. Mr. Rolph was not only my soccer coach but a mentor. This man changed who I was and ultimately shaped who I have become. He believed in me and developed a confidence me I had not had until I met him. He was truly one of the kindest and selfless people I have ever met. He is with the Lord at peace.

Dee and family, Libba and I will never forget his friendship and the time and love he gave to our daughter during years of soccer practice. He was one of the few people with grace and understanding for all. God Bless.

I was speaking with my mom last night and she said to extend our condolences to you and your family. We were talking about the time that you fixed an Italian dinner (complete with dripping candles in the wine bottles!!) in your basement apartment in Great Bend. I'll never forget the times I was at Wings games with darrel. The New years parties at hisd house when I lived in Wichita. Dee, Debbie Dawn and Cody, I havent seen you all in the longest time bit I am sadened by Darrel's Passing. I love the Rolphs and pray that God helps you all through this.

I remember Darrel's enthusiasm and generosity while he supported the SWH wrestling team. As a young man he left a strong impression on me and I have thought of him and family often. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Circa 1960 a 6'2",120lb,slightly clueless young man being taught by Mr.Rolph,a caring and sincere new teacher.
Fast forward,1965 the same 6'2",120lb,still slightly clueless,assistant manager/unofficial franchise trainer.
Dan Carney walks in the store and says this is Mr. Rolph teach him how to make pizza.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Darrel will be remember for many great things but always caring and sincere.

I am so sorry for your loss. Darrel will always be remembered by me as a little larger than life and the loving head of his entire Rolph clan. I can only imagine the sadness for you all. My prayers to you and your children.

I worked for Darrel for 5 years at the Carlo's O'Kelly's in Salina and will remember him as always treating everyone with the utmost respect whether you were a waitress or a manager. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. My sympathy to the family.

Dee and Family-we were so sorry to hear about Darrel's passing. We had some contact with you and Darrel over the years but mainly through Dave and Barb. I'm certain he will be missed greatly.

Dee and family, I was so sorry to hear about Darrel. I hadn't seen him much since the old "Rustys" days. He was one of the best, always a great person. I like many, will miss him, but have many memories of hunting and fishing stories he shared with me over the years.

Dee and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked for Darrel over 20 years and have the deepest respect for him. I went to him with a personal problem and he was so understanding. All my memories are very fond. May God be with you at this time of sorrow.

I remember Darrel from my days of teaching at Kapaun Mount Carmel High School. He was an energetic and friendly gentleman... never too busy to take time to visit.
I have witnessed his life of generosity through his allowing Carlos O'Kelly's of Hays, KS to support the Mary Elizabeth Maternity Home (a safe home for pregnant teens) in it's annual "Taste of Hays" fundraiser. Thank you Darrel and God Bless your soul.

There are no easy words to say how much Darrel will be missed by so many people in all walks of life. A true gentleman, a friend to many, an advisor to those who appreciated a valued input for their investment portfolio or needed information for a business decision they needed to make that required review. He was a mentor, a terrific husband,father,uncle and an informed and disiplined businessman. He was most of all a fun person with a great sense of humor and family man. I had the priviledge to know Darrel for over 35 years and will miss him and our daily conversations. We have lost a true friend and solid citizen.May God be with him and his extended family through these times of grief and celebration as well. My life was enriched because Darrel was a true friend.

I had some dealings with Mr.Rolph in the mid-1970's when working at Stout-Crawford AMC Jeep; I think Mr.Rolph had a Wagoneer (yellow?)...and I remember he was a very nice customer to deal with; I hope there's lots of good memories of him to help you thru your grieving...
