In an unexpected turn of fate, we find ourselves grappling with the profound loss of Darrell Lee Beaver, born on October 27, 1970, in Murphy, NC, to the loving embrace of Howard and Pauline Beaver. On Tuesday, December 12th, at the age of 53, Darrell was untimely taken from us, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who held him dear.
Survived by his devoted wife, Melannie (49), Darrell leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: RC (29), Makala (24), Tanner (14), Branson (12), and his cherished grandchildren Winter (7), Wilson (5), and Wrenly (17 months). As the baby brother to Paul, Cheryl and baby Arnold, he was also the adored brother of his sister Debbie. His extended family, including daughter-in-law Shelby (27), stepson Kyle (32), stepdaughter Ashley (33), son-in-law-to-be Jon (43) and daughter-in-law-to-be Brenna (25), further enriched his circle of love. Darrell and Melannie were in the process of adopting Bailey (7), completing their beautiful legacy of family connections.
Darrell's impact on the Canton community was profound, notably through his active involvement in youth sports. A dedicated baseball/softball coach and mentor, he played a pivotal role in nurturing the athletic passions of countless children. A beloved figure, Darrell was known for his ability to effortlessly forge connections; he never met a stranger, finding friends wherever his journey led. His relentless good natured banter echoed through the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
A devoted attendee of Beulah Baptist Church in Canton, NC, Darrell found solace in his faith. Beyond his community involvement, he cherished moments at deer camp, passing on the art of hunting and fishing to his children while relishing in the shared tales of family and friends. Forever the baby of his family, Darrell will be fondly remembered as a mama's boy, his heart forever entwined with the love that surrounded him.
In the professional realm, Darrell's tireless dedication manifested in his roles at Champion Paper Mill of Canton, NC, where he operated #11 machine for many years. Additionally, he ran a thriving family Electrical business, a legacy he intended to pass on through the generations. A passionate sports enthusiast, Darrell's allegiance to the Alabama Crimson Tide was unwavering-ROLL TIDE!!!
Darrell's unexpected departure has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His selflessness, sacrificial spirit, unwavering support, and boundless love will forever resonate in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. As we gather to bid farewell, Darrell will find his final resting place beside his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 18 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Curt Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Owl Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
