DARRELL GENE BROKESHOULDER Darrell Gene Brokeshoulder, age 61, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Marietta, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2025, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest. Interment to follow in McAlister Cemetery. Darrell was born on September 18, 1964 to Eugene Brokeshoulder and Frances (Parnacher) Brokeshoulder in Ardmore, Okla. He graduated from Adamson High School with the class of 1983 in Dallas, TX. He worked for The Adolphus Hotel as a Cook and later for the government's office for the heath information management in the copy center and was a courier. Darrell married Janice Lynn Ingram on November 29, 1986 at Overbrook, Okla. They moved to Marietta in 2001after his retirement. Darrell liked to go bowling, fishing, and playing horseshoes. Darrell was an avid supporter and fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the OU Sooners. He would not miss watching his granddaughter play ball, spending time with his family and his love for his fur babies, Bella and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Leonard Brokeshoulder. Darrell is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janice Lynn Brokeshoulder of the home daughter, Janelle Brokeshoulder and fiancé, Gary Baker of Dickson. son, Dustin Brokeshoulder of the home, and daughter, Mary Brokeshoulder and fiancé Dakota Bertrand of Ardmore, one granddaughter, Bayli Boswell of Dickson, sister, Terri Ramirez and husband, Mike, of Midlothian, TX., and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be; Jared Tenequer, Chase Tenequer, Mitchell Ingram, James Ray Ingram, Gary Baker, and Dakota Bertrand. Honorary pallbearers will be Chaio Johnson, Spencer Gore, Tommy Maxey, JR Pettigrew, Kyle Ingram, Mark Hite, Kyle Minyard and Enville Fire Department. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, September 25, 2025, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore. Condolences may be left at www.griffinhillcrest.com.
