Mr. Darrell Wayne Busch

Mr. Darrell Wayne Busch, 66, of Aiken, SC, companion of thirty-three years to Lisa Anzalone, entered into rest in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, while under the loving, kind and compassionate care of Agape Hospice.
Born in and a resident of Houston, TX, until 1991, he is the son of the late Eileen Busch. For 25 years, he was employed as a Lead Service Technician with Barton Clark Communications that is owned and operated by his good friends and in-laws, Wes and Lynda Barton. Darrell worked up until December of 2025.
Darrell enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to various genres of music. Anything from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Sheryl Crow, just to name a few. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, fishing, kayaking and keeping his yard immaculate.
Back in October he, his children, Jessica Busch and Jacob Busch took a trip to Folly Beach where great memories were made. Also on this trip was his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Camryn Alcorn, who affectionately referred to Darrell as "Poppy".
Along with his companion, children and granddaughter, Darrell is survived by a brother, Brett Busch.
At his request, Darrell was cremated and no formal service will be held. Darrell had requested that all who were able to gather on Folly Beach where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
