Darrell E. Foster was born on October 18, 1950. Darrell was the fifth child of Jesse and Henrietta Foster. Darrell grew up in Gary, Indiana. He attended Indiana University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1979 and a Masters in Public Affairs in 1982. Also, Darrell was recognized with a special education endorsement in 1986. Also, Darrell partnered with his close friend, Dr. Eugene Robertson, as host for KOPN radio station on Saturday afternoon. Darrell and Joy D. Olive were united in holy matrimony in 1976.
