Darrell Wade Hull, Sr., 78, passed from this life on Friday, January 5, 2024. Darrell was born December 7, 1945, in Weatherford, Texas, to Alvis Hull and Maudie (Reddell) Hull. He was a member of the Church of God, and will be remembered as a happy person, both humble and sweet, and always having a smile. Fishing was his biggest hobby, and it was full time business with him because he loved it.
Darrell loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed making people happy. He was a man of few words, but he would open up when you had kids playing and having fun. He took pride in helping and working with his son with bounce houses. He always made sure the customer was happy no matter the cost and was willing to help no matter who you were.
Darrell was very punctual and hated being late, characteristics he used in his livelihood. Throughout his life, he was a hard worker. As a truck driver, his skills and safety on the road earned him the honor of being in the Truck Rodeo, in both Nashville, Tennessee and Branson, Missouri, where other truckers came from all over our great nation and participated.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Maudie Hull; daughter, Lecisha Hull; brother-in-law, Cecil Carr; sister, Eddie Ruth Mayers; brother, Harry Hull; and infant sister, Margie Hull.
