Darrell William Katz

A Special Forces Legend, great American, and true friend. He will be missed and remembered.

I had the pleasure of serving in various units alongside Darrell. I always found him to be a serious yet humble officer. I thought of him as a cherished friend. We ended up settling in the same community in Florida. He was an active and inspirational member of the local Veterans group. RIP friend. Jake Jacobelly

I served with Colonel Katz in the US Army Special Operations Command.
He was exceptionally smart and proficient at his duties. He had a dry, but vivid sense of humor that always left me laughing as he smugly walked away to tackle the next task. He was a great inspiration to us all. Rest in peace, my friend!
