Darrell Martin
Born on August 17, 1971
Late Parents Ruby Jim-Martin and Henry Martin. He was born in Shiprock NM and grew up in Red Valley Arizona. Darrell attended Red Valley Day school Kindergarten to 8th grade.
He met the love of his life Pearllynn Begay in 1987 at the Red Valley Day school; and have been together for 37 beautiful years. They have seven children. Three boys and Four girls: Squanto, Ophelia, Darrellson, Derrick, Perfilia, Rihanna, and Darianna. He has one paternal Nahli who met him in Heaven. He helped his wife raise his late brother in law's(Jonathan Begaye Sr) children: Jonthea, Jonathan JR., and "Harveka" Harlen son. Darrell love playing Drums at all Pentecostal revivals he attended. What a great servant of God.
He passed his drumming skills to his paternal grandson Nahli saying, "Huh Nahli you will play drums like me. Baby would smile at him as he would sing sing a long gospel songs.
He worked hard to provide for his family. The family would be told' " Come on we can do it, We've done it before!" He taught his children how to haul fire woods, Sheer Sheep, auto mechanic, and household duties at demand. He was a true man of his word when he agreed to do tasks. Although work was hard he made his family laugh and happy while they worked.
Darrell always loved his father n law, when they got together it took him hours to come home. He loved all animals making sure there was enough alfalfa hay, and corn feed. Now his father n law will miss Darrell.
As the scripture says " I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go to the House of the Lord!" Darrell would say "Come on church family are waiting for me so, I can play the Drums!"
