Darrell Lee Nikkinen

Darrell Lee Nikkinen was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and husband. Darrell was known to be very straight-forward and funny, but also kind and caring. He was a devout husband to Georgia Nikkinen, to whom he was married to for 30 years. His legacy lives on through his two living children, Kurt and DaraLee (Sweetie), as well as his daughter Evelyn, who unfortunately passed away in 2024. Darrell loved all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. His grandchildren include Remington, Ryan, Blake, Rustin, Lacey, Autumn, Hannah, and Brandie, as well as his granddaughters Jehan, Jannah, Jalynn and Jalena. His great-grandchildren include Elizabeth, RaeLynn, Bristol, Hudson, Jae Marie, Beckham, Brecklyn-Ty, Naima and David. He also leaves his loving legacy behind with his ex-wife, Peggy (Lovebug), and his sister-in-law, Barbara. Though Darrell has transitioned to a better place, he will be remembered for his passions for gun and coin collecting, as well as diving. We are all grateful to him for his years of service in the United States Army. He was very proud of his military service, as well as the 40 years he spent as a crane operator. Our family would like to thank the staff at Treasure Coast Hospice for the excellent care that he received before his transition, especially to his nurse, Patti.
