My heart and condolences go out to all that experienced and been part of such a great man. Darrell touch so many people with his presence . He will forever be remembered for the memories he created. The first team in 25 years to bring Garland back to the playoffs. He was the best RB I have played with on all levels. RIP brother. May God give you peace and rest.

My condolences to the family. What a great humble human being that never met a stranger and treated everyone with dignity and respect. Will be truly missed. Darrell is one of the best running backs, I´ve ever seen in my life , but he was a greater person. R.I.H my Brother

I was so fortunate to meet Darrell on several occasions. Debbie brought him to several work functions and I always said I am sitting by Darrell. As he was the "fun bus" and enjoyed having a good time. He and Debbie were soulmates, you could tell that from the moment you saw them together. May he suffer no longer and be in peace with the Lord.
