Darrell Franklin Swarens

Mr. Swarens was an amazing teacher. I was lucky to have him as a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Lab school. You made a difference. You will be missed.

Thanks for being my friend Darrell. This Sunday, I'll sing Sermon on the Mount in your memory. Maybe you can be there in spirit. This is a sad loss but I'm grateful to have known you.

An amazing teacher. My sister had him four years before me, and talked so highly of him that I wanted to skip straight to fifth grade. Always such a sweet, calm disposition in the face of we hooligans :-) He introduced us all to the world of Tolkien, and made the daily grind of school days pleasant. Thank you, Mr. Swarens.
