Darrell Whitaker Obituary
Survived by his wife, Kathy Butcher Whitaker, one son, Darrell Shane (Tracy) Whitaker of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Sonya Jill Whitaker of Salyersville, Kentucky, Ricky Dean Whitaker of Michigan, his twin sister, Bonnie Jean (Phillip) Stone of Tecumseh, Michigan, one granddaughter, Alexandria Mayne (Brandon) Risner, and one great grandchild, Zander Dean Risner.
In addition to his parents, Darrell is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mercedes Layne Whitaker Stephens, and one sister, Avanelll Arnett.
Darrell was a dedicated member of the Burgett Community Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Meade, Jr.. Burial will follow in the Roark Cemetery at Burning Fork, Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
