Darren Jeremiah David Hampton

Darren Jeremiah David Hampton, age 16, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 2, 2026. He was born on March 13, 2009, to his beloved mom, Daunese Hampton. He is also survived by his cherished sibling Dailani Hampton; dear grandparents David and Eileen Hampton; Aunts Kim Hampton and Sherry Olds and Uncles David Hampton Jr., William Hampton, Curtis Hampton, Melvin Hampton, Christopher Hampton, Stanley Robertson; first cousins Jontae Hampton, Aliya Hampton, Bryson Hampton; special family friends Tammy Moore and Shellie Fullum; and a host more cousins and friends.

Darren loved video games, he would beat every single Mario Kart game that came out. He was in the 10th grade and attended Akron Public School Online. Darren was a straight up tell it how it is type of person and never sugarcoated anything to spare anyone feelings. His favorite pastime was to make fun of his Grandpa whom he called shorty. He even made fun of him on live television, Darren loved to tell that story. He fought a long fight against leukemia and never complained. He was resilient and one of God's strongest soldiers and he will forever be remembered.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10-11am at Second Baptist Church, 451 Bronson Street, Medina, OH 44256.
