Darren Dale Wallace, born on November 20, 1962, in Cleburne, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2025, in Grandview, Texas. He is remembered as a dedicated individual who exemplified hard work and had a zest for life. Darren was not just an industrious worker; he also believed in enjoying every moment, often joy in the pursuit of leisure activities.
A passionate golfer and avid fisherman, Darren cherished time spent on the coast, where he reveled in nature and the camaraderie these activities brought. His craftsmanship in woodworking was notable, as he not only demonstrated his skill in creating beautiful pieces but also held a special role in building caskets for the Orthodox Christian Church, a testament to his dedication and respect for the community.
Darren leaves behind a loving family that includes his father, Jimmy Wallace; brothers, Dusty Wallace, Tim Wallace and his wife Sherri, Clint Wallace and his wife Jo Ann, and Tommy Ruiz; as well as step-sisters, Suzy Martin and Stacey Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends who will dearly miss his presence.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Hughes; his step-mother, Patricia Wallace; and his sister, Lou Ann Calvert. Darren’s legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the love he shared with those around him.
