With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Darrin Michael Schilling on February 17, 2025, at the age of 60. Darrin was a man of quiet strength and surprising resilience, facing life’s hardships with a stubborn determination that carried him through even the toughest times.

Born on November 15, 1964, Darrin had a deep love for the things that brought him Joy —fishing on a quiet day, the roar of a NASCAR race on Sunday, and tinkering with anything that has a motor. Those who knew him understood the depth of his loyalty and the quiet ways he showed his care.

Darrin was a dedicated father to his only daughter Kassi-Jo and took on the role of Father to his stepson Jesse. Darrin deeply loved Jesse and Kelly’s children, Holden and Lily. Though their time with their Papa was short, his love for them was endless. The family will keep his memory alive, sharing stories and cherished moments so they always know how much he cared

.He leaves behind his father, Fred Schilling, who will carry on his memory, and his longtime companion of 30 years, Vikki, who loved him and stood by his side through it all.

For years, Darrin battled health struggles, facing them with the same stubborn will that defined him. Though his passing leaves a void in our lives, we take comfort in knowing that his pain has ended and that he is finally at rest. His spirit will live on in the memories, lessons, and love he shared with those closest to him

.A celebration of Darrin’s life will be held at a later date. Until then, we honor him by remembering the strength, resilience, and quiet love he carried with him always.
