Darryl Brooks III

Darryl Brooks III was born on May 28, 2000, to Melinda Cruz-Brooks and Darryl Brooks Sr. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Darryl gave his all to everyone and everything around him. He would give his last
dollar to help others, or lend a helping hand to those who needed it. Over the last few years, Darryl fell in love with the towing industry. A natural-born passionate and hard worker, he dedicated six -sometimes seven- days a week to overnight towing. Skilled in his profession, Darryl outperformed drivers who have
worked in the industry for years before him.
On October 8th, 2022, at 5:55 A.M, as he neared the end of a quiet night shift, God decided Darryl's work here on earth was finally done - He's called our Darryl to enter the gates of heaven, to rest at his side.
Darryl deeply loved his dog Killer, family, friends, and red Mustang. Aside from the one thing we all knew Darryl enjoyed, spending quality time with loved ones, or participating in water activities kept a smile on his face, and a light in his eyes.
Darryl was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and a safe space for many people. A loved and respected family man, he leaves a massive hole in the hearts of his close-knit family and lifelong friends who truly enjoyed his presence, his laughter, and his heart.
Darryl leaves behind a village to carry on his legacy: his parents Melinda Cruz- Brooks and Darryl Brooks Sr., his siblings Darius Brooks, Darance Cruz, Deszerae Cruz, Destiny Brooks, Darrion Brooks, Deshanti Brooks, Darryl Brooks Jr, Tashaybrea Brooks, his nieces My'la Allen, Riley Cruz, Madison Cruz, Khloé Wilson, Desryanna Brooks, and nephew Darance Cruz Jr. As well as a host of other brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
