Darryl Haley Obituary
He was born to Clint and Faye Haley on November 30th, 1954, in Oak Ridge, TN. He attended Bearden High School and later worked installing electronic filing systems. His real passion was auto mechanics though.
Darryl had many hobbies and interests in his life. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, muscle cars, and had owned a 1983 Cutlass. He loved Norris Lake and spent most of his weekends and summers at his grandparents' boathouse, fishing and water skiing. He never met a stranger. He loved to help others and had this infectious smile that made people want to smile with him. Above all, Darryl adored his family, especially his grandbabies.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Faye Haley; brothers, Ken (and wife, Kris) Haley and Doug Haley; nephew, Michael Haley; and brother-in-law, Barry Goldstein.
He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Deborah Haley; sons, Joshua Haley and Jeremy Winstead; grandsons, Darryl Lee (and wife, Shanda) Winstead, Nathan (and wife, Amber) Winstead, and Robert (and wife, Sarah) Winstead; sister, Kathy Goldstein; sister-in-law, Sharon Haley; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and their families.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his UT hospice nurse, Erica.
Services will be held on April 4th, 2026, at Click Funeral Home – Middlebrook. Visitation will start at 2PM and lead into the memorial service starting at 3PM. Pastor Noah Case will officiate.
