Darryl Christopher "Chris" Sutton

The Short Life of a Loving Man

There once was a very great man named Chris
He had three bueatiful children to love
The kind of man that everone will miss
A man that you would always want to hug
His short life was full of love and wonder
Who knew that a man with a perfect life
Could be destroyed by the hands of cancer
A great life where you are gifted and bright
He was my uncle, a very great one
A man that was a very great brother
He turned moods from sad to times of great fun
In the heart he was of my sad mother
A great man he was, was one of a kind
Think of great men and Chris will come to mind

There are absolutely no words to describe the incredible life and loss of our baby brother. We are completely heartbroken. We feel tremendous gratitude for all of the heartfelt acts of sympathy and comfort. Rest in peace, Chris. You will be greatly MISSED!!!!

What a total shock. I worked with Darryl on some of his cases at the Patent Office. He was a great guy. Always ready to learn something new and always willing to calmly and professionally discuss whatever we were talking about. Blessings to his family. This is a true loss to all of us.

I did not know Chris, Dr. Sutton, very well. However, I saw him around the halls at USPTO and he smiled often. I am very sorry to hear that he passed away but from the looks of the pictures he led a very full life in a very short time. A very special life and soul indeed. Rest In Peace Chris.
