Darryl Taylor, 63, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Johnson City, Darryl has resided most of his life in Fall Branch, Darryl was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School and was a member of Lovelace Missionary Baptist Church. He had retired from the Kingsport Water Department. Darryl was an avid outdoorsman and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Jean Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Yendiame Taylor; daughter, Melony Almany and husband, Daniel; son, Derrick Taylor and wife, Jessica; three grandsons, Austin Cox, Peyton Cox and Mason Taylor; two sisters, Debbie Hillman and husband, Glen, Barbie Taylor and Dave Hicks; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Lovelace Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Allen Brummett officiating.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Taylor, Daniel Almany, Mason Taylor, Austin Cox, Peyton Cox and Brad Thornburg. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Hillman and Dave Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lovelace Missionary Baptist Church, 930 Ryan Road, Fall Branch, TN 37656.
