"These are the gifts that are strangely, beautifully, painfully wrapped". I first met Darryl in 1977 when he walked in to the lobby of Modern Flying Service at Buhlow Lake and endeared himself to my husband John´s and my hearts forever. He was such a bright, caring, loving, giving and steadfast young man. Also, a wry sense of humor and always a positive, upbeat manor that made him a joy to be with. Darryl grew to be an excellent pilot, a good man and a dear friend. My deepest sympathy to Donna and all the family.
