Darryl Keith Wright

Darryl Keith Wright, 74, a lifelong Pendleton County resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home. Born on July 2, 1951, Keith's life was blessed with the love and companionship of his wonderful mother, Hilda Louise Moore Wright, with whom he enjoyed 71 years before she preceded him on March 20, 2023, and his dear sister Darla Kay Wright, who preceded him on November 30, 2022.
A 1969 Pendleton High School graduate, Keith was best-known for his decades of work as a meat processor. He managed his family farm and formerly taught Agriculture in the Campbell County School System. Most of his free time was spent with family, and he especially enjoyed visiting flea markets with his mother.
Surviving are his nephews: Matthew Springate (Juana) of Ipswich, MA and Michael Springate of Lexington, KY; his great nephews: Daniel and Lucas Springate; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 12-1 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Graveside services will begin at 1:30 pm at Lenoxburg Cemetery, Foster. Memorials are suggested to Pine Grove United Methodist Church: 9095 KY-10, Falmouth, KY 41040.
