Darwin Brown Obituary
Darwin Brown, age 69, passed away January 11, 2024. He was born December 23, 1954 to Donald and Jelene (Steenhoek) Brown in Grinnell, Iowa. Darwin met Kathy (Lee) while working at Kmart, the couple had been married for 35 years. His true happiness was spending time with his children, but especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Geisler.
Darwin is survived by his wife, Kathy Brown; children, Tasha Johnson, Joshua Brown, Jessica Steenhoek (Dan Walters); 2 grandchildren, Alexander and Jadyn; sister, Janis (Larry) Reams; brother, Leroy (Cathy) Brown; brother-in-law, Joe (Kathleen) Geisler; nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church in Carter Lake, Iowa on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
