Darwin Eldon Grimm

I just saw this today. ( 4/15/23) I am very sad to hear of OUR loss of tjos amazing man. The time I saw him was when we said "See ya later" to Gwen. BOTH of them have inspired me in many ways since My family moved to Sheridan and we started attending Sheridan Nazarene in 2002. I remember being so impressed By how loving Darwin was when speaking of Gwen. He often referred to her as his bride. That inspired me to look at my own husband and my own marriage more closely and to be a better wife and mother. It's not often that you see a couple that has been married for as long as they were that loves each other so deeply and so obviously. Instead we live in a society with disposable marriages where people talk about their spouses in such negative ways. They were an example not just of a long marriage but of a loving marriage. I knew that was possible. I had seen that kind of marriage in my own parents marriage until my mother's death. Sadly though it's not something we see often in our society where marriage is instead treated like it is disposable and even antiquated. Of course we all have hard times but they reminded me if what I had learned from my own parent's example we need to CHOOSE our spouse and make the commitment to lo V e them even when we don't want to. ( we aren't perfect either!) Janice, & Gary ( and the rest of the family too!) Please know that my love, thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of your dads passing , he was such a great influence on mine and so many lives , im honored to have known him and your mom 2 iof the best people i loved them both , warren and bonnie
