Mr. Darwin Jefferson was born July 5, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana to parents, the late Willie and Eva Jefferson. Mr. Darwin Jefferson, age 65 of Pittsboro, NC departed this life on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Darwin graduated from Killeen High School, class of 1978. Upon graduation he joined the United States Army. While in the Army he obtained his bachelor's Degree in Business.
He was stationed in Wertheim Germany, as he met his wife Gabriele Anna Jefferson. From that Union, a daughter, Jeanette Maria Jefferson. She is forever his cherished little girl.
Darwin retired from United States Army after 21 years of honorable and decorated service. Darwin began his second career in the Federal Government for the Department of Defense over 26 years of service, where he served as a Deputy Division Chief of the Training Division.
Darwin mentored many people, encouraging and assisting them in their educational and career goals.
Darwin was a loving, caring and wonderful husband, father and brother. His family adored him and found him to be extremely funny, giving and he showed them the world. Darwin loved to travel, he loved fancy cars and he loved to entertain and he was the best host there ever was. Darwin was a published author by two novels of science fiction.
Darwin will be deeply missed by all who truly loved him.
Darwin is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Omar J Omungo and his baby sister, Jacquline Williams.
Darwin is survived by: his loving wife, Gabriele Anna Jefferson; daughter, Jeanette Maria Jefferson; his sisters, Carla Maria Jefferson and Yolanda Rendlemen. He was loved by his Spachmann family of Dorfprozelten, Germany like a son.
Darwin will be always in our hearts and never be forgotten until we see him again.
