Daryl Dauer Obituary
Daryl Duane Dauer, age 76, of Clio, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in Punta Gorda, Florida. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Committal service will follow at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638. Pastor Michael Wilke will preside. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3424 Crestmont Dr, Saginaw, MI 48603.
Daryl was born on October 12, 1948 in Saginaw the son of the late George and Donna (Stanton) Dauer. He graduated from Reese High School, class of 1966. Daryl worked as an electrical technician for the United States Post Office in Flint until his retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Cindy Sauvage; brother, Gregg (Penny) Dauer; nieces and nephews, Donald (Brandy) Pringle III, Jarrod Sauvage, Danielle (Robert) Szeszulski, Gregg (Kayla) Dauer II, Teri (Larry) Carter and Sabrina Dauer (Kristian); and many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, Daryl was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Pringle and nephew, Brett Pringle. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
