Daryl Clark Phillips, 66, of
Richmond, VA, passed away on December 30, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Clark Phillips, Jr. He is survived by his son, Jameson Lee Phillips; his mother, Nila Wardell Phillips; his sister, Allyson Phillips Demetriou, and her husband, Demetris; and his niece, Gillian Demetriou.
Daryl was a native of Monmouth County, NJ, and was a graduate of Wall High School, Monmouth University and Emerson College. He spent many years as a professional actor, including time at Theatre Virginia, Richmond Shakespeare, and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. He has taught theater arts at Prince George County High School, for 17 years, where he touched many lives.
Daryl's joy came from his relationship with his son, and teaching his students.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daryl's honor to PG Players theatre program at Prince George County High School.
