Davaeh N. Peeples, affectionately known as Vaeh, was born on October 6, 2011, in Topeka, Kansas to Doneisha Beaver and Antoine Peeples. With a spirit that radiated kindness and love, she captured the hearts of all who knew her. Tragically, she left this world too soon, passing away on March 29, 2025, at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
A bright light in her community, Vaeh was a student at Jardine Middle School. Her vivacious personality shone through in everything she did, whether she was playing volleyball, soccer, or running track.
Beyond her athletic pursuits, Vaeh had a vibrant personality that blossomed in her hobbies. She was an avid shopper who loved doing her makeup and getting her nails done, often channeling her creativity into making TikToks that entertained and inspired her friends and family. Vaeh's laughter would fill the air, a sound that will be deeply missed.
Davaeh is survived by her mother, Doneisha Beaver, her father, Antoine Peeples, her siblings, Tiani, Damauri, and Ra’Zean,Peeples, and Khalani and Khamya Ransom, as well as her grandmothers, Kerri Walton and Tina Adams, grandfather, Andre Peeples, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Willard Beaver.
The community will gather to celebrate Vaeh's life on Monday, April 7, 2025. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home- Midtown Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue Topeka, KS 66604, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00PM with Pastor Durant of True Light Church officiating.
