Dave Karnes Obituary
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara L. "Bobbie" Karnes; one sister, Zola Mae Lockhart; one brother, George Karnes and his great-grandson, Andrew Bateman. He was a member of First Baptist of Greenland and attended Ridgeview Baptist in Fayetteville. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Kerr, and her husband Steve, of Arlington, Texas; granddaughter, Laura Bateman, and her husband Tim, of Frisco, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Leah, Hannah, and Noah.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
