Dr Adamski,
You were my first mentor. You inspired me to explore the natural world. You will be greatly missed.

What a sweetheart. I am so blue. He could spend so much time with a volunteer.

Dave will forever be "Dr. Adamski" to myself and son and daughter who he taught at SEEC. His kind gentle nature with the kids was coupled with his ability to teach scientific concepts without talking down to the kids. They truly loved him. My daughter went into environmental science in college and served as an intern in the Entomology dept. at the SI. We have fun memories of overnighting on an insect collecting trip with the young Entomologists Club. Dave always welcomed young and old learners and he inspired so many by his passion and commitment to science. He will be greatly missed and was one-of-a-kind indeed!

David was an entomology associate of mine while at MSU in the 1980s. He convinced me that entomology was only a hobby. He directed my career toward medicine, pharmacology and nursing. I sincerely thank him for that as I directly helped mankind. My condolences to his family.
