He was active in the Purple Heart Organization along with wife, Lora. Mr. Ahee loved spending time with his wife of fifty years and his grandchildren, playing golf, and sitting by their pool.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lora Ahee; son, Jamie; parents, Roberteen and Donald Ahee; and brothers, Mike Ahee and Rick Ahee.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Tracey Ahee, Nicole Ahee and fiancé, Thomas McQuillin, and Anna Lisa Ahee; grandchildren, Taylor, Josh, Harlie, Joseph, Emma, Savannah, Cheyenne; and two sisters, Janet Ahee Morris and Donna Ahee; brother-in-law, Allen Herman; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He had a special bond with his cousin, Dixie and many others. David was incredibly proud of his family and lived a very selfless life always thinking of others.
