David Alber Obituary
David graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and Eastman School of Music. He was a violinist with the Syracuse Symphony, retiring after many dedicated years. David loved classical music and opera.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Murray Alber.
David is survived by his loving companion and partner of 47 years, John L. Barnett; his brother, Paul Alber; his nephew, Sean Alber and friend, Heather Fais, along with many extended family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Steven Naprawa for the care and support of David for many years.
Private funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plymouth Congregational Church, 232 E Onondaga St, Syracuse, NY 13202.
