David Carl Allan, 75, of Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Huntingdon, PA he was the son of the late James and Rhoda (Oakes) Allan.
Dave was employed by the Borough of Indiana as a lab supervisor at the sewage treatment plant. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1468, as well as the Indiana Moose Lodge #174.
Dave loved all sports. Whether it was playing hockey, coaching his son's Little League team, watching college sports, especially Pitt Panther football, he was the avid fan.
His family was the most important aspect of his life, especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. He cherished his trips to the beach with his twin brother Dan.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy L. (Bossert) Allan; son Dustin (Kayla Irvin) Allan and daughter Holly (Tristan Booker) Allan, all of Indiana; three grandchildren Alayna, Hannah and Oliver; great granddaughter Riley; his twin brother Daniel (Sue) Allan; nephew, Christoper Allan, and niece, Angela Allan.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his in-laws, James Norman and Marjorie (Lloyd) Bossert; and brothers-in-law, James Bossert, Jr. and John Lloyd Bossert.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
