David J. Anderson, 63 of
Cadott, WI passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023, at Marshfield Hospital in
Eau Claire, WI surrounded by family and friends. David, son of James and Rose (Liedl) Anderson, was born September 24, 1960. David grew up in
Stanley, WI.
On June 11, 1983, David married Debbie (LeDuc) Anderson, the love of his life. David spent many years making cheese, and ultimately resigned from the Yellowstone Cheese Factory in April 2023 to concentrate on his health.
David loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, farming, camping, woodworking, playing life on the farm with his grandchildren, and supporting his grandchildren's passions. David's sense of humor and his ability to bake his signature apple and peach pies will live on in memory. David provided support when needed to family and friends as a sign of his love. For David, spending time with his family was essential.
David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debbie (LeDuc) Anderson of Cadott; two sons, Travis(Samantha) Anderson of Osseo & Ryan(Alicia) Anderson of Cadott; one daughter Shannon(Jonathon) Kummer of New Auburn; Grandchildren Royce, Emma, Grace, Maci, Lillianna and Leo; four sisters, Pam(Jeff) Thompson of Stanley, Peggy(Jerry) Ciokiewicz of Stanley, Cheryl(Rick) LaMarche of Stanley, Cynthia(Donny) Burzynski of Stanley; one brother, Lorry(Linda) Anderson of Elk Mound, and many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Rose Anderson; brothers James Jr. "Tubby" Anderson and Tim Anderson; sister Patricia LaMarche; nephew Joshua Anderson; grandparents Margaret and Albert Liedl, and Jacob and Mollie Anderson.
David's friends, family, and grandchildren all cherished and admired him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Dec. 14th, 2023 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 415 N. Maple St.
Cadott, WI. with Father William Felix officiating.
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Boyd, WI. following the Funeral Mass.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with praying the Rosary at 8:00pm on Wednesday, Dec. 13th, 2023 at the Leiser Funeral Home 511 N. Main St.
Cadott, WI. A visitation will also be one hour prior to the Funeral Mass Thursday morning at the Church.
