David Anton Obituary
Passed away in a place he loved, on his boat, February 21, 2024. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dave moved to the Minneapolis St. Paul area after being recruited by REV 105. Preceded in death by father, Mario; brothers, Mark and Mike. Survived by children, Helen, Charlie, and Hazel; mother, Loretta; siblings, Kris, Kathy, Karen, Tom, Mo, Steve & twin sister, Diane; also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dave loved radio, he loved the music, the people, and the magic of making it happen. He felt blessed to be a part of it for so many years all the way from college radio to WCCO. He was an avid Blackhawks fan, and never a fair weather fan. Though when it was nice out, you could find him enjoying nature and gardening. And more than anyone can even could ever know, he loved his children.
Memorial service 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 3rd, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077. Visitation 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service. A Celebration will follow at Cuzzy's Bar, 507 Washington Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55401.

Dave, my beautiful, baby brother. Such a kind spirit and sweet soul. Only 7 years old when you were born, but I remember every bit of that exciting day. I remember holding that chubby, little hand and seeing that galaxy-wide smile. I got to take you places, I got to watch you grow up. I got to listen to you play music and entertain those around you...as only you could. Somewhere, above the stars, there's some really good music being played. Rest now, Davie. Dave and I had a mutual fondness of the Jayhawks music.
I've been listening to the band tonight as I heard of his passing.
Will always remember him as "that guy who wears the headphones at Cuzzy´s"

David had the biggest and most sincere smile. He had a sweet and calming spirit that I always felt when I was around him. My heart breaks.
