David William Apps, age 74, formerly of Lake City, passed away July 20, 2025 at the Wexford Senior Care Center in Cadillac, where he lived for the past four years.
David was born June 30, 1951 to Leo and Lucille (Outman) Apps. David was born and raised on the family farm and worked there all his life.
In his younger years he attended Merritt School and graduated in 1969 from the Lake City High School.
David loved spending the summer nights sitting outside looking at the stars. He had many cats and enjoyed them along with his farm cattle.
He was loved very much by his sister, Helen Williams, brother in law, Bob Williams and nephew, Brian Williams, as well as two step nephews, Robert Brandon Williams of McBain and Adam Williams of Cadillac.
David was preceded in death by his parents, great step nephew, Samual Williams and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per David's wishes there will not be any visitation or funeral.
Burial has taken place in the Lake City Cemetery.
The family would like to extend thank you appreciation to Munson Hospital ICU, staff and doctors, Munson Hospice and also the Wexford Senior Care Center family.
