My heartfelt condolences to all at David's loss. I was lucky enough to meet him during his time at the Sheriff's Department. His imposing build camouflaged a personality and smile equally large and welcoming. We did not work directly together for extended periods, but when we did cross paths, I enjoyed the interactions and conversations. I considered him a friend and hope he felt the same. May he rest in peace.
