David C. Arnott

Age 65, of Armada and Rose City, MI passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was born on September 4, 1960 in Lapeer, MI to John and Janet Arnott (Helzer). After graduating high school, Dave pursued a career at Park Electric in Armada that spanned more than 30 years until his retirement in 2012. He did all things required to manufacture electrical boxes for his company. Dave had been more of a permanent resident of Rose City for the past five years. He was affectionately called the mountain man with a huge heart. Dave loved being up north and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. He would be outside from sun up to sun down woodcutting, hunting, making maple syrup to give away, caring for neighbors lawns or repairing just about anything with his great mechanical skills. Dave loved running his three dogs out in the woods too and they were his wonderful companions. He was always on the go and doing something to stay busy all hours of the day. Dave is survived by his parents, John and Janet Arnott of Rose City, MI; brother John (Susan) Arnott of Richmond, MI; sister Anette Johnson of Romeo, MI, sister Tammy (Robert) Hagood of Romeo, MI, and brother James Arnott of Romeo, MI. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. Private arrangements were handle by Buresh Funeral Homes in Hale, MI.
