David Arthur Drewett Obituary
David Arthur Drewett, age 83, of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 30, 2025. He was born October 25, 1941 in Wheeling, Ohio son of the late Lawrence J. and Edna (Crook) Drewett.
David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. David took pride in his home taking care of the animals and working in the yard. He enjoyed watching sports, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra "Sandy" Drewett; and brother, Lawrence R. Drewett.
He is survived by his son, David Allan (Tara) Drewett; granddaughters, Rebekah, Rhian, and Aurora "Rory" Drewett; sister, Linda Wright; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 6:00pm-6:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A Visitation will follow from 630pm until 8pm also at the Funeral Home.
